What are the legal rules for diving at Blue Heron?

Short of participating in a sponsored night dive,
I thought you could enter the water before dark but had to be out of the park by 10 PM.
I was told that you have to be out of the water by dark?

Anyone know for sure?
Bill

Hi fellow divers,
Would anyone or a group be interested in diving Blue Heron with a bridge newbie (me!) one of the following days:
-Tue Nov 3
-Wed Nov 4
I am an experienced boat diver but not shore, so will need some advice regarding that. Love the sea creatures I see on your fantastic photos and can't wait to see them in person!
Driving up to the dive from Pompano Beach.

Bill....nive pics.
Very nice 9 arm......
Can't wait to do another night dive at BHB.
Wish I could have done last night but my fun had to take a back seat to Trick or Treat

Bill,
Looks like I missed a great dive I love the crinkly look of the squids tentacles.
I might have to do the next night dive

If you are doing a night dive you really need to do it through a shop. The rules state that you are not allowed to be in the park after sundown with the exception of people using the boat launch (24h) or people using the fishing pier (until 10pm)

If you want to do night dives there the best way is to get ahold of a local dive shop, which starting this year have been allowed to get permits to host night dives there.

I have a feeling that people are starting to skirt this rule, but for the sake of all of us, please go through the dive shops so we don't get this privilege taken away!
