Here's some stuff from the last few days. Some are extra big to show details that I have questions about... sorry if this messes up anyone's display too bad.

This guy was found by Paul's ever vigilant and keen eye. I found one a couple of days ago missing its entire lower lip, I think from a fishing incident. I took pics of that one too, but they're too sad to post.

Nice Southern Stargazer. Next time try touching the plate behind the eyes. :rofl3:

I pulled someone with a camera over here, but I don't know who that was...

I think that mighty be exactly the same fish in exactly the same place. When did you take it? The one Paul found was on the west side right next to the second set of footers.

I was there on the 26th also, but wasn't really planning to post any of my pics. The quality of mine are soooo much lower than most of them that I didn't figure that anyone but me would appreciate them. Since it was my first time trying to shot anything up that close, I was kinda happy that I could even tell what they were. So here some are. Out of 312 pics these are the only ones worth looking at.

Nice shots Don!

You definitely found more interesting critters to photograph on that dive than I did - thanks for sharing!!

East side, February, under the bridge itself first set of pillars

Kev, not eggs on the urchin but rather tubed feet that they use to get around. :) if you watch closely they will retract and extend. Not sure on the other eggs - they resemble some squid eggs I've seen but not exactly... The eggs inside seem to big but as I said, I am not sure on those.

I think that these are squid eggs... does anyone know for sure? Maybe the super macro guys can get some shots of the developing embryos as they get older. PM me for location.

Great shots Kevin. Love the eggs wonder who they belong to & I have got to see that frogfish . Everyone but me is finding him & I know where he hangs out! Your detail/texture on the last shot is fantastic.

Well, seeing as it was such a nice day today I decided to dive the bridge instead of going to work. I think I made the right decision.

I dove with Anne & Judy, and an hour and a half into the dive I ran into Kevin & Naoko. I want to say congratulations to Naoko. She saw her very first sea horse today.

For subjects I found Head Shield Slugs, a Doto, Oxynoe eggs, a couple of Seahorses, Squat Urchin Shrimp, Bumble Bee Shrimp, a Striated Frogfish, a Dwarf Frogfish, Sea Hares, and an unidentified hitch hiker on one of the Sea Hares. Not too bad for a 2 hour and 7 minute dive. Here are some of the images.
