I was there on the 26th also, but wasn't really planning to post any of my pics. The quality of mine are soooo much lower than most of them that I didn't figure that anyone but me would appreciate them. Since it was my first time trying to shot anything up that close, I was kinda happy that I could even tell what they were. So here some are. Out of 312 pics these are the only ones worth looking at.

Looking Good... Keep on shooting. Lots of practice

Very nice Danno :D Thanks for sharing :blinking:

Thanks Kim, Glad that u enjoyed....:D

Don't worry. There are tricks. I can show you if you let me know the next time you're going to be up there (assuming that I can go up there too). I'm pretty new at this too, and there are certainly alot of people around here that know a million times more about it than I do, but I can help get you started. Shoot me a PM the next time you're headed up there. Anyone else that would like to come is welcome as well.

Thanks guys :)

Fish we may move our Dania Beach picnic to BHB if this wind does not stop ;) if we do we will see you there.

Here's some stuff from the last few days. Some are extra big to show details that I have questions about... sorry if this messes up anyone's display too bad.

This guy was found by Paul's ever vigilant and keen eye. I found one a couple of days ago missing its entire lower lip, I think from a fishing incident. I took pics of that one too, but they're too sad to post.

Does anyone know if these white knobs are eggs? If not... does anyone know what they are?

I think that these are squid eggs... does anyone know for sure? Maybe the super macro guys can get some shots of the developing embryos as they get older. PM me for location.

I caught up with this guy a few days ago, and had him all to myself. I took over 300 pictures of him trying to figure out how to get enough light on him. He's like a black hole! Anyway, through this process, I came up with the shot below. I was unable to see any sort of details on him with my naked eye, but after blasting him with my strobe from about 3 inches away, I could see that he's actually got a weird velvet like texture to his skin, and that is what traps those grains of sand on him.
