Hermit Crab and I are planning a dive on NEXT Saturday the 18th.. (a late birthday celebration for her). High tide is about 6PM. Anybody interested in joining us?

We went today and yesterday--viz seems to be improving--after the tide reversal today it was pretty clear, maybe 30 ft of viz--the best I've seen there with the tide running out!! Saw a bunch of rays--3 Eagles, a Bullnose I think, lots of Yellow Rays, clouds of baitfish--very nice dive today, so we're going tomorrow and hope for great viz........................

Thanks for the update Jim. What have the water temps been?

I am also interested in knowing what is the Viz with all that rain every day. One can not rely on what a dive operator / dive shop tell you. I have seen some post 70 ft viz when actually it was 15-20 FT

Hi Paul,

82-84F

We did go today and saw a Sea Horse--waay nice!! :D

Viz I hoped for did not occur--nice early in the dive-about 30 ft, went to 10-15 when running out. About average on the outgoing tide and better than average on the incoming tide.

I did my 2nd dive with my new Nauticam 550D/T2i camera system on Sunday. It was a leisurely 100 minute dive. Here are some of the more interesting photos I got.

HONDA KEY FOUND TODAY AT BHB

Turned in to the lifeguard this afternoon. It appeared to be one with a chip in it. My sister dove it today and the viz was astounding--50 -60 feet at times.

So, who wants to meet up for a dive on Saturday? High tide is about 6PM. Should be out before dark.
