I was supposed to dive Dania beach, but it was canceled....anyone diving tomorrow? I have all my equipment (except tanks), I will have to get them in the morning.

What was the water temp today--sounds like a great dive!! We haven't been since New Year's day.

Thanks, Jim and Carol also in PSL:cool2:

Like PJ said, 5 Manatees, a huge Southern ray, tons of Eagle Rays and the biggest lobster I've seen all year.
Pics to follow.

And you were worried that there wouldn't be anything for your daughter to see. Great pics Yesterday was my 1st dive with manatees It was awesome -too bad I shoot macro Today viz wasn't very good & I only saw 1 manatee but got some photos of nudibranchs, sea spider & bumblebee shrimp.

jimw, you'll be just fine.
I dove 3/2mm and was hot.(no gloves, no hood)
I think I could have gotten away with .5mm.......yes 1/2mm.
Of course....the water is only what?......15-20 feet deep with sunlight penetration from top to bottom..
At 100fsw, I'm sure I would have needed every bit of that 3/2.

A few people were diving today--water temp 73F, viz 50 or more, suitable for wide angle shots and a million fishes of every kind-Eagle Rays, big Barracuda, large Porcupines, groups-not just pairs of various Angelfish. No camera, of course!! Dove the east site.
