Howdy guys, new poster here, and sorry to bring a dead thread to life but i thought i would comment on the Comal. This last weekend i completed my OW at the Comal. The weather was just amazing, and water temps were at 74. I wasn't expecting to see much but i was surprised by the viz. We also did a night snorkel that was so much fun. Cant wait to go back!

I was going to bring back this thread also. Just looking at my very dry gear sitting there, I am wanting to get it wet so badly. My dive shop was in the Comal last weekend and I was not able to go. I have family coming to town and leaving on the 20th so I am looking to make a Sat. trip on the 22nd. I have not been there so can someone tell me the best location to enter the water?
