Yesterday my first dive was with @Schwob and his wife. It was her first post cert dive. Went pretty well.
My second dive was with a couple who are friends. This was dive 89 and my diving "aha!" moment. Everything clicked. We did a 53 minute wall tour of the quarry. We also found one of the large, hollow, plastic pickles (weighted down with stones inside) scattered about the quarry. If you find one, you move it elsewhere.
Having everything click was just lovely. All the hard work paid off. It was so nice to just glide along and lollygag at stuff. I was diving with my 30cft pony and it was like it wasn't there at all. Friends were diving one single tank BM with a pony, and the other SM. I started with 3300 psi (HP80) and finished with 1300. My air consumption has really improved. We didn't go deeper than maybe 35ft for a short time, mostly 20-25ft (shallow side of quarry).
And for a good laugh, this is me with the pickle. It's maybe 3ft long.
