I attended the AUP open circuit tech training yesterday at DEMA and just want to thank Ron and his crew for imparting a great deal of knowledge to us in a relatively short (full day) amount of time. As a first timer with regulator repair it was great getting inside and learning about the regs I dive with and suggest to my students. I now have no doubt I can maintain these regs in the future. I had little doubts to begin with but learning the way the day was organized to build from the more basic to more complex really enforces the more basic steps and leads to confidence with the more advanced features. When I get home I have a pile of regs due to overhaul to re-enforce the learning further. Of course after I frame and hang my certificate in the shop.
