Hey all, I'm a new Open Water Certified diver, and I am glad I've been invited aboard. I've been putting it off for years but at 48 I felt it was now or never! So I'd like to hear to hear from anyone thats got that "Now or never attitude" be it in going places, new equipment purchases or whatever....Thanks.

Welcome, I started diving with my wife 2 years ago, at the age of 43. We're older, wiser, and safer! Feel free to pick my brain of whatever tidbits I may have with my limited experience.

I too got certified when I was 48, 2 years and 112 dives ago. Don't know why I waited so long.

Welcome to the board and to diving. What part of the world you from? Your profile is a little on the sparce side.

Howdy There! :sunny

Welcome to SB!! :happywave Put us in your favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue:

Yeah, you're old enough to know better. Not as old as me, by a long shot, but hand in there....

Welcome D-Diver ... got certified just 18 month ago, at 45 with my husband - managed to get in 74 dives, our advanced OW, Nitrox, EFR, Fish ID & Underwater Naturalist classes, and heading to Bonaire in 4 weeks ..... I think it's been "now or never" on everything we do since that first dive!! :snorkels:
