Update... With my Aggressor trip coming up next week, I checked both of our Terics. 46% and 50% batter level and have not been charged since our last dive in May. New batteries were definitely in order when we did it.

My Teric was losing 30% per day of battery charge so I sent it off for maintenance to Dive Tronix, LLC. Here is what they said.

This unit simply needs a battery replacement. We will also replace the bezel screws, chassis and chassis O-ring and upgrade the depth sensor as required by Shearwater.
This falls under our General Maintenance Service for $150.00, and includes:
-Parts
-Labor
-Pressure & function testing
-USPS return shipping (uninsured) to a US destination.
-6-month repair warranty on all parts replaced/installed, except consumables such as screen protectors. Shearwater has a two-year warranty on the Teric battery if found faulty. We do not warranty customer misuse or abuse.

I got the Teric after a few days of transit and it was indicating a 98% charge. Now I have done a few days of free-diving and it says 96%. I declare this a success.

Pay attention to your Teric battery performance to take advantage of the 2 year warranty. I have owned a Teric for about 6 1/2 years and have had 4 battery replacements, paid nothing. Absolutely fantastic service from Richard and Michele Morton at Dive-Tronix
