Tanks made from 6351 alloy

I found some tanks on ebay that are local and I'm going down to eyeball them. Seller is clueless about them, but they look like AL 80's. How do I tell if they are the dreaded 6351 alloy? What markings will they have?

I found some tanks on ebay that are local and I'm going down to eyeball them. Seller is clueless about them, but they look like AL 80's. How do I tell if they are the dreaded 6351 alloy? What markings will they have?

1. No cylinders made by CATALINA ever used 6351 AL Alloy.
2. ANY cylinder made by Luxfer or Walter Kidde with an ORIGINAL Hydrostatic test date prior to 01/88 will be made from 6351 AL Alloy.
3. ANY cylinder with E6498/SP 6498 marking instead of 3AL will be made from 6351 AL Alloy.
