I suppose that this should be under another listing BUT. Does anyone make a tank valve which incorporates a high and low pressure port to eliminate the necessity for a separate YOKE connection? I'd like to use something like this on my PONY tank, which only needs a port for a reg and one for a pressure guage. Filling could be done through the hi-pressure port. Am I missing something here?

I just eliminated the yoke by converting my pony reg and valves to DIN. It got the yoke (the yoke screw, more than anything) out of my way, and I'm not tied to any given tank for a pony (or a stage).

(Plus, I don't need to keep track of any special filling widget.)

ClayJar: In other words you replaced the K-valve with a DIN type and then changed your low presure hose to the reg to a DIN type?

I had an AquaLung Titan with a yoke connection. I had the yoke swapped out for a DIN fitting. I then put Thermo Pro valves on both (the kind of valves that can be used as DIN valves or used with an insert (that comes with them) as yoke valves).

With the inserts unscrewed from the valves, you connect the DIN Titan directly. There's no yoke or yoke screw to get in the way. Also, since you can use a DIN-to-yoke adapter to connect the reg to yoke tanks, you can use it with *any* tank. (And you can use the tanks with any reg, since you have the yoke inserts if you need them.)

Your breathing regulator (2nd stage) works on LOW pressure (ambient +125 lbs) That's what your 1st stage does. You want to measure tank pressure(2400-3500 lbs). Your 2nd stage regulator will blow up!

Leadking: I think you are confused. Re-read the question.

I don't think so. What you want for a valve is a first stage regulator.
