Does anyone know where to find a tank valve that has a 1/4" NPT inlet? We have a Scuba Tools H.P. Manager with a Genesis valve that has one. Was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get them or are these special fabrications. All valves I am familiar with have a snorkel on them.

@herman has made them for several of the local shops. Pretty easy to machine a valve out.

@OTF they're useful for repair benches. In a "real" test bench each work station will be connect to the bank bottles and have a high pressure regulator with gauge and this valve outlet. This allows the technicians to set the regs up at low and high pressure. Absolutely critical with unbalanced regulators.
For example, with a Poseidon Jetstream/Xstream if you set it up at 3000psi because that's what you have available and the diver puts it on a 3600psi HP steel tank *or even 3400psi to 3600psi will do it if you tune it light enough*, the second stages will freeflow since the IP is inversely proportional to the tank pressure.
Conversely with the Cyklon you have to set the WoB at 300psi. If you set it at any higher pressure and tune it very close to freeflow the slight changes in IP across the first stages *none of them are perfectly balanced* will cause it to freeflow as the tank pressure drops and the IP rises.
