I am having difficulties locating a dive shop that rents tanks...so I may enjoy your local shore diving....help!Mahalo

Pretty much all the stores rent tanks, charters likely wont. Up north in Kohala, check Kohala Divers or Mauna Kea Divers, In the Kailua area, check Big Island Divers, Jack's Diving Locker, Sandwich Island Divers or Scuba Shack 2. I think Big Island has a weekly rate fro tank rental available if you want to keep your tank and fill it anywhere. If you are talking Hilo side, then you are pretty limited, probably Nautilus dive center.
