overfilling with hot air/hot tank is NOT recommended, it will stress the tank,
fill to normal pressure, cool down, top up
OR
fill to normal pressure with tank in water, to save the cool down wait.

many shops do the fill to normal pressure, or a bit over,
too fast, way over 600 psi pr min,, it gets too hot,
and they get you out the door while tank is stil darn hot
and forget the top up, but you are there with yelling kids and wife
who wants to goto other shop for toys, A story of my life :)

back home I do my own fills, and top up after cooling
and avoid overfilling and stress of tanks.
