I'm not sure about the ICC but 3AA is Steel and 2250 is the working pressure. There should be more markings. Sounds like a steel 72 but we need more info.

ICC is "Interstate Commerce Commission" which was the predecessor to the DOT.

Good chance it's an old steel 72 with 1/2" threads...

It is an old steel with a working pressure of 2250psi. While 72's were probably the most popular size, It might be some other size.
 
All we know it that it met the ICC (as said above - Interstate Commerce Commission) Steel (3AA) standards and has a working pressure of 2250.

There is a requirement for there to be at least a manufacturer's name or number on as well and a serial number.
