I just got a Faber FX117. I got a great deal through Off The Wall and am very happy with it. Except for one thing. Gawd O'Mighty this thing is WHITE! I don't know why it's bugging me so much, but it is.

My plan is to get some permanent markers and let the grandkids decorate it for me. Can anyone suggest what kind of markers to get or what to do to preserve my one of a kind decorations?

Sharpie tends to work well on that paint.

I put a decal from my dive shop on mine.

Let them go wild with the common Sanford's Sharpies. Cylinder decorations are futile but at least the marker will fade gracefully.

I wouldn't suggest trying to preserve the artwork with clear coat or anything. That will just ruin a good factory finish.
