I've been playing around with the sun more recently, specifically the ripple effect of the water's surface. For example:

Those wide shots with sunlight are just stunning.

All I can say is WOW those are amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's awesome how you have captured the light, colors and beauty of the reef structure, as well as utilize the light of the surface to create awesome total effect. Nice job! Are you willing to disclose the location of the photos?

Thanks; it's something I've been playing with for awhile. Requires a pretty clear day though (obviously).

Macro shots were all at Point Lobos.
WA shots were (in order) at:

Local's Ledge (Carmel Bay)
Local's Ledge (Carmel Bay)
Crossroads (Point Lobos)
Strawberry Peak (Pt. Pinos, near Coral St.)
Strawberry Peak (Pt. Pinos, near Coral St.)

Strawberry Peak isn't anywhere near Coral St. It's clear around the point,
and, for most folks, a boat dive.

And I think it's "Locals' Ledge" (plural possessive form, not singular
possessive).

Both are nice sites when you can dive them. They are fairly exposed and
need a flat day.

Well, I meant "close" in the grander scheme of things. I think the spot we were diving was just around the point; maybe 3/4 to 1 mile from Coral St. Though now I wonder if we're even talking the same site, as we were within spitting distance of the Pinos washrocks.

good to know.
