One potential problem with DIN-to-yoke adapters is that some adapters that I've seen were too narrow to fit over the post of some yoke valve heads. This could be a huge problem on a trip. I just find it easier to keep a pair of Oceanic yoke regs bagged and ready for travel in my spares bag. It just takes a few minutes to swap out all the hoses and plugs.
