Hello:

After reviewing the forum I went from a pair of integras to a scubapro jet (not split) ...spectacular difference, I'll never go back to a hard fin.

:notworthy

I've been reveiwing video footage of this DIR kick and have tried it with my integras and I will try it with the jets. Were the jets made for the frog kick?

No, they weren't. They work very well with all kicks. The frog kick is an excellent all purpose kick. Much more useful than the flutter.

I concur to that! After I switched tgo frog kick on the jets, my air consumtion improved drastically. It's amazing that the design of the fin hasn't changed in 30 or so years and they are still one of the best fins to use. did you get the XL size? the blade on XLs is larger, which is good.

While the blade on my XL's is larger than the blade on my L's, I notice no difference in performance. The XL's are perfect for a dry suit, but without the dry suit, they don't fit my feet as well, so I usually stay with the L's.

I'm looking to convert to Jets as well, but no one in my area carries them. figure I'll just buy from LP sight-unseen, as the price is decent. Any recs for a shoe-size of 9-9.5? Right now, I'm wet only wearing a 3mm neoprene boot (but dry may come in a year or so). XL?

I have size 11 with XL, not sure how would XL fit your booties though. Keep in mind that XL or L on those fins is generally much smaller than other brand fins. I guess if you buy it, and they don't fit, you can always exchange them.

XXL Jets will be available in January
