Suunto Stinger for silly money

Have just managed to track down a Suunto Stinger for £249!! I've got to wait a week for it to arrive but who cares - now need to save up for the interface (unless any of you clever sods can build one for me!!)

Donwloaded the stinger demo - its the stinger_demo.exe file but it installs the cobra demonstration. Am I missing a trick here?

I did it at home and it worked perfectly (it's 5.4 Mb, but I have a cable connection at home so it was really fast).

I went to look at a Stinger yesaterday and i thought it looked brilliant,very compact indeed. Did you get a rubber guard with the Stinger?

I am selling my Cobra i think and Im going to go for the Stinger. Dont know if you have seen the Suunto clipper/B compass but i will be getting one of those too to fit on the Stingers strap (beats the bulky SK-7 module on the cobra anytime). You can see the little bugger here

No, not got a rubber guard (YET) - the stinger itself is superb. Easy to use and read under water. The compass looks like a bit of a gimmick to me (especially under water) so I won't be investing in one - have one on my console so no real point anyway. Thanks for the info anyway.
