I recently decided to change the batteries in my old
faithful Suunto ML computer. This unit uses the standard
1.5 volt watch type batteries(2 each). It usually costs $50
and takes 2 weeks to do this job thru your local dive
shop. They send it to Seaquest(I think?).
Anyway the battery change was pretty easy and I also
took the opportunity to rub out most of the scratches
on the viewing window. HOWEVER - I can't get the
unit to turn on !! Since it hasn't been back in the water
yet - its not flooded. So - I'm wondering if there might
be a start up procedure that needs to be done.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the boards!

This is the place for any questions you might have.Someone always has an answer or knows someone who does.

I don't know about your battery issue, my first thought was did the batteries go back in the same way they came out? I'm sure someone else will be along soon to help you out.

When you get a chance please fill out your profile, We don't even know where your from!

Hi Tavi - Thanks for your reply.
I added some profile info.
I hope to hear from a Suunto expert.
