Suunto D5 settings question

Is there a setting where one can adjust how long the D5 measures before counting/starting a new dive?

Say you're diving with students, bring one to the surface, spend a minute talking to them - handing them off to another DM before descending to continue with the rest of the class. How do I adjust that time so that it doesnt start another dive?

Not that I am aware of. I’ve went through the settings several times this summer.

NOTE: If you surface and then dive again within five minutes, Suunto D5 counts this as one dive.
