I bought the PC Cable from Ebay. It came with drivers, etc. I believe I have the drivers and Suunto Dive Manager loaded correctly.

My issue, is that when I plug my computer in during the Download Wizard, I get an error that says "Device Not Found." I have tried to look on Suunto's website. I have re-loaded drivers, etc.

I am getting very frustrated....:)

Anyone else had this issue?

Thanx in advance!

I had some similar problems. The disc for the dive manager software was loaded but it wasn't current enough for the Cobra 3. I went to the Suunto site and downloaded the most recent software and installed it. I haven't had any problems since. I would try to make sure you have the most recent software for the computer model you have and try that because of the issue I had.

I downloaded DM 3. Seems to be the latest.

I still get the same error.

Thanks for the idea!!!

Is your Cobra in Data Transfer mode ( 3 TR-PC)?
I got the same "Devise Not Found" error until I switched the Cobra to Data Transfer mode.

When in doubt-
Rule 1...Read the instructions.
Rule 2...Read the instructions throughly!

101Recon...Thanx!!! I had it in TR-PC but had to push one more button to get the "3" in front and it worked splendidly....

Thanx for the help!
I ma still new to this game,,,,, I like the diving much more than the computer work...

As you use your computer more and more, one thing to also remember when you go to download is to clean the contacts on the back of the computer before you plug the interface cable into it. I have a very small grinding stone attachment from a Dremel tool that I lightly (by hand) spin on top of each of the two contacts, to clean the accumulated deposits off. Cleaning them in advance of the download will reduce your frustration of the computer timing out before the download starts.

Glad I could help.
Cleaning the contacts is also a good tip.I use an eraser that is trimed to fit. It's cheap,non-abrasive,and cleans the contacts like new.

Had the same problem with the USB interface from Germany. Windows vista automatically loads the Suunto driver, you have to get rid of this and load the driver that comes on the disc supplied with the interface. Seems like you had a different problem though.

I had the same problem. I had to download the usb driver separately. Installed that and it took care of the issue. For what it's worth.

My Cobra 3 automatically goes to data transfer mode with I plug the cable into the computer. Didn't have to read the instructions to get it to work, thank GOD!
