The most important feature for me is the algorithm used. This is not an answer that is allowed in your survey therefore I could not proceed through to the end.
Thank you for the feedback; I will include this in the research.
I have been heavily criticized for the quality of the research, and it is helping me improve.
I am receiving more criticism and better guidance from external people than from my own advisor.

I posted here in the test forum before posting in any real forum because I am new here.

I appreciate your time.

A master's thesis survey should be more properly designed, no?
Depends on the field. I’m a psych prof, we definitely expect more of our master’s projects but we are a behavioral science discipline. Survey design is our bread and butter.

I’ve been an “outside” committee member on master’s theses outside our field, and this is fairly typical for a master’s project in an area that doesn’t focus heavily on behavioral science and human subjects research.

Master’s theses are meant to be a learning experience - constructive feedback to OP on what could be improved is helpful, unkind comments are not. And really it is on OP’s advisor for dropping the ball - if you don’t have the research experience to help your students navigate a human subjects research project, you should be sure there’s someone on their committee who does have that expertise and can. Students can’t be expected to know what they don’t know.

Poorly written survey, new member, external link to survey? Nothing to be cautious about...
Thank you for the criticism.

I indeed posted in the test forum because I am new and was advised to test features I am not yet familiar with.

I am indeed receiving a lot of criticism regarding the quality of my research. I accept it with gratitude and sadness—nobody likes to fail—but I will improve.

Thank you, your consideration is greatly appreciated.
I will indeed improve my form and will include this point in a second version.

Thank you for your comment.
I am indeed rethinking my approach after several comments. While I am paying attention, absorbing the criticism, and trying to improve my project, there has been a lot of heavy criticism that should have come from my advisor but didn’t, and I now truly see how much I need to improve.

The advantage is that I am in the first month of my dissertation—my program started in March—and I had planned to use multiple forms, so this wouldn’t be the only one.

But I will redo everything.
Thank you.

Agree, survey is very poorly written. No mention of algorithm, display, or battery/charging. Did not finish.
Thank you for the points raised.

@venturasbr

I took the survey. Between the questions and the text entries, I was able to communicate everything I wanted to on the topic. It was not difficult and did not take much time.

As others have said, I'm not sure results of this survey are worthy of a master's thesis. You can use the data you obtained from this version of the survey and rethink where you are going. It might help if you shared your plans and scope for this activity.

Best of luck

Thank you! My idea is to conduct further research, analyze patents, manuals, and carry out a truly more in-depth study. This survey is just an initial foundation for developing a more comprehensive project.

But indeed, I will revise and restructure it, using the 132 responses I’ve obtained as a guide to improve it.

Thank you very much for your support!

I learned long ago ….. feedback is a gift; that sometimes you want to return.

Looking forward to your results.
