Update: It's been about a month now, and I still haven't heard anything about my claim. I filed it on their website, and never received a confirmation email, so maybe it didn't go through. But I emailed them about a week ago and no response, and called yesterday and left a message and no return call yet.

PS - You may be asking what this has to do with DIR? Nothing really - I just value your opinion and know we have expensive toys!
a real DIR diver wouldn't lose his/her gear.
