Anyone up for a dive this coming Sunday? My buddy and I are thinking about RI or maybe Hathaways Pond (Paul reported 46deg!). It should be a warm day....

It's a bit far and my buddy is diving wet. Probably be down when it warms up a bit and we can get in longer dives or a three dive day. Looking forward to checking it out one of these days though. I still think fresh water tastes "funny".

Wish I could join you Sunday....been waiting to check out Hathaways...no diving for me this w/end. Will keep you posted....

Oh yeah, and fresh water does taste funny and I dont wanna know why! Nothing is worse than the pool, though. No more pools for me.....

The quarry tastes funny thanks to Dave's Halcyon balanced p-valve that he never shuts up about!

Is that a case of p-valve envy Gidds?

I was pretty happy with thinking that fresh water tastes funny rather than thinking about "why" it tastes funny. Some things are better left a mystery. I don't even want to think about why my eyes and sinuses burn in fresh water.

You are correct, I don't need one. I am quite content to do dives of about an hour and as such have more than sufficient bladder control ;)
