SUMP UK hardware on Katana 2

I asked nicely and Andy @ Sump UK sold me just the chest strap pieces from his new eXplorer SM set. I had previously installed the QR buckle and canister plate. My Orca620 fits perfectly.

By this afternoon every BC in the house will have the QR buckles installed.

The buckles are amazing. My standard buckles came loose every other dive. These lock in the same place every time and everything stays much more secure.

Nice! I replaced the drop down d rings that came with the Katana 2 and put on the bent d rings from UK Sump. Much easier to clip in deco tanks now. Credit goes to a scuba board member who recommended this in another thread......

The buckles are injection molded. Chest plates are anodized aluminum and the rear plate is stainless steel.

The red hardware looks v. good on that BC.
Shame he isn't making them in orange...
