Is there anyone left that just loves to dive? Good Viz or Bad...Just loves to dive?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

CincyBengalsFan. Ya just gotta dive for fun regardless of what the viz is. Some days at Falling Rock the viz is 30 feet. Some days its 12 to 15 feet like it was on the 12th and 13th of July. Sure there were some areas that had been stirred up a bit but you could still see into most of it and places like that are the perfect place to perfect your compass skills.

msedivingdoc---did you see the statue of Mary? Or the sword(Excalibur) or the many gargoyles? Did you get through all the swim throughs and find all the tombstones? Did you find the underwater volley ball net? Could you find the skeleton sitting on the commode if you started from New Horizons entrance?

Can you indentify all the species of fish? What other creatures have you seen there? What different aquatic plants are there? Did you find the table top painted like a compass? Did you find the pedestal that the table top belongs on? How did the two get seperated and end up that far apart?

There's more to see at Falling Rock than most people ever try to see. Its a really good place to do what I call midwater compass swims.

BTW--one of the very best dives I've done was on the 13th with ckharlan66. One hour and forty minutes and we still didn't get all the way around the quarry. Saw things I never knew were there. Had an absolute blast.
