Suggest a dive please ....

Ill be coming to Easthampton MA early to mid next month to spend a weekend with my inlaws. If you folks could recommend some dive sites / operators in the area, Id be grateful. I am advanced open water and primarily interested in photography.

Easthampton is inland a bit so I'm not really familiar with dives in that area but if you're willing to drive a few hours your two main options will basically be Cape Anne and Cape Cod both of which have several dive sites.

In both locations there are shore dives sprinkled all around the respective cape. For dive shops you can look at Cape Ann Divers or Cape Dive Locker for Cape Cod.

Local place to rent tanks/gear if needed is At The Water's Edge, just down Line Road from Easthampton toward Westfield, across from Hampton Ponds. My dive buddy and I are from the area and head to Cape Ann for shore dives, and there are a few boats available too. Cape Ann Divers has boat dives as well as gear to rent. They could also suggest best shore dive sites for conditions.

Cape Ann Divers is good for getting advice on sites based on the conditions. I know of a few divers that will call them or stop by after a dive to give them the conditions so they can pass it on. Another good thing about Cape Ann Divers is they rent steel tanks instead of the standard Al80.
