I am leaving for Mexico tomorrow, unfortunately some a-hole in my office gave me a cold which I am recovering from now and thankfully the symptoms have almost subsided (my nasal passages and chest feel relatively clear so I am hopeful) but I am going to take a 12hr Sudafed before I dive on Sunday just for some extra precaution. I need to also take Bonine since I get very motion sick on a boat. Just wondering if there are any interactions between the 2 drugs and I can safely take both.

As mentioned, there are lots of 'flavors' of Sudafed. But there are no known interactions between bonine and 'Sudafed 12 hour'.
(Insert usual 6 page CYA warnings about diving while congested and seeking medical advice over the net here)

My doc recommended that combination if needed. Again, I'm not a Dr and I did not end up needing the Bonine.

First of all, if you are in doubt about medications and their possible effects, it is best to consult a doctor or a medical professional

However, it isn't always convenient to do so for whatever reason - time limitation, can't be bothered etc.

There are websites that can give you information about possible interactions of medications. I've used this in the past for non-urgent medical queries.
