Hmm Seems to me that if your missing something with wheels you should look in Arlington. I hate thieves and am glad you got you trailer back. Hopefully they caught the thieves as well. As for the whole vin thing and registering the trailer.... well I have several small trailers and never registered any of them. Because they are small I have never had any issues with that.

That is great news!! Did they happen to find a 4x6 well cargo next to it? I had a trailer stolen in December and it hasn't shown up anywhere yet. I'll probably get a new one in the spring if it doesn't show up.
