I've been told that mayonaise also works well. I think you have to put it on and let it dry a bit. Might as well have a BLT while you wait!

The mayo has vegetable oil in it, just use plain veg. oil.

1) Rubbing alcohol. Usually works but may take more than one "cleaning".

2) NON-Acetone polish remover. Also works, but can leave a bit of a lingering smell.

I use lighter fuel or they have some stuff call goo-off.

But it would depend on where the sticker is if I use the lighter fuel and it does not hurt plastic.
