Anymore info on this? I'm curious to see exactly how the argon bottle and can were attached .

I'm using this mounting method since long time, my favorite. Clean, compact and leaving butt "area" empty for storage etc ...
Check this short clip here you will notice the top of the canister covered by wing.
Very easy comfortable way (for me) to turn it on and off especially with my light (Yellow Diving LED with piezo-electric tap button switch).

I will find the pictures of how the bungees are attached to the harness but its just simple loop tight into the harness, that's it.

I like it cause it looks clean and organized. Does it change your weighting characteristics (I know not all cans weigh the same), less weight on the spine?

Well as everything carrying some positive or negative buoyancy has to be considered when balancing your rig, my light can is +1.. lb negative so I added on some weight only in lower part of Stealth
harness in this case, so less weight in upper part you're right.
 
Ok ,so here are some pictures ... When I use the rebreather I will mount the argon bottle on other side but exactly same way.
