I have to say it was very nice. We brought with us about 6+ tanks and gear; the marina had a cart we used to move our gear from the cars to room and back to cars.

Now I just cannot wait to be back there in July for Invasion!

Thank you Becky and Greg for being such good hosts I had a great time down there. Next time I will have to bring my 6yr old son, he would get along great with your boys.

DebbyDiver:
Becky, can you launch kayaks from your place? Also, is it on the first floor and if not, how many flights of stairs to climb up carrying dive gear?

Yes alot of people bring kayaks, There is a beach and a marina I have seen people launch from both. If you stay in the condo's you have a elevator, If you stay in a townhouse you have a nice porch which everyone leaves there gear out on. My place has a screened porch for your gear and a rake to hang your BC to dry them.

[-]Becky, is yours a townhouse or a condo? If it is a condo, I'm happy to know it has an elevator but I was just wondering which yours is.[/-] I just looked at your photos and I see it is a townhouse with ground floor entry. Just what we need! :14:

I just sent you a PM.

Debby - I got the nickle tour and saw Becky's condo (we stayed in the tower). Her condo is basically a 2 story town house with a ground floor, so no stairs (except to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are) or elevator. It's very roomy and a short walk to the onsite marina if you have your own boat or short drive to Cristal's pilot house location, just a little farther to Blue Ocean.

This is definitely my new spot to crash in the upper keys. :)

Absolutely! There is nowhere else better to stay!

Of course we just have to make sure that there aren't too many people clamoring for it when we make our next reservations. :D

Thank you guys so much for your wonderful posts about Kawama Yacht Club. It's hard to try to explain how a place really is on a web site, But I think you all have done a pretty good job, Everyone will know how wonderful of a place it really is. Thank you
I am booked solid for Memorial Day Weekend and Mini Lobster Season I'm really sorry guys I wish I had more to go around.
See all of you soon
Becky

This might help...

I agree with everything said. We had 8 in our condo (Yes 3 were small) without any problems. We had 4 more visit on Saturday night, and there was never a need to bump into anyone
