I just wanted to post a big shout out to Speargirl and her rental at Kawama Yacht Club. We stayed there this past weekend and it was absolutely awesome!!!! We had 4 people and 2 kids staying and it worked out great for us. If anyone's thinking about it, I would highly, highly recommend it. Great location, less than most hotel rooms and you get all the qualities of home. Becky's an awesome host too. The place is clean and she definitely will take care of you!

My only request is that when everyone starts flocking to rent the place out is that I'm still able to get my spot on the calendar when we come back down!:D

Jon,

It was a true pleasure meeting your family and friends, I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay, I wish you could have stayed longer you could have seen the reefs that we found. Next time will go to them first. You will always be welcomed back just give me a call.:D

so when I go to look at the place via pics, I get this.
This photo album is empty

Look above the album and you will see 49 pictures showing click that:blinking:

Becky, can you launch kayaks from your place? Also, is it on the first floor and if not, how many flights of stairs to climb up carrying dive gear?

I stayed in Kawama this weekend... I'll give a little write up about it after I get some rest, but the short story is if your going to stay anywhere on Key Largo other than camping, don't waste money any place else! It's close to charters, its close to shopping, its right on the Atlantic so if you have your own boat (personal paddle or trailered boat) they have no kidding direct access. The bonus is that for a few bucks a night more you have a NICE place to stay thats not two beds, a TV, and Bathroom. :)

By the way, Thanks RedWingDiver for the great pay it forward present!
