I have finished all my knowledge reviews, all my quizes and tests, all my pool dives and skills. Today I head off to Avalon, Catalina to complete my OW dives over the next three days:D

I am excited and nervous. I was certified in the 1970's and have not dived since 1976. I loved it then and I love it now. The equipment is SO much more comfortable now! My daughter went to CIMI camp (Catalina Island Marine Institute) this summer and got her NAUI OW. she is 13 and we can't wait to dive together. We will be doing my OW dives at the casino, the weather should be perfect.

Talk to you on the other side

Have a blast!

Welcome to the 'board and back into diving!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you'll enjoy the "park" in Avalon... wish I could go Saturday, but I know few from here will be there. (Dave aka: "teamcasa" for one.)

Please feel free to drop on down to your local forum and join in the fun............

I too am looking forward to the day my daughter and I can dive together... few more years.

Dive safe and enjoy!

welcome aboard and have a great time.

This is it. We arrived in Avalon late yesterday. I walked out to the casino and watched the sunset. Eighty degrees, calm seas and sixty six degree water. Who could ask for more? Well, I am off to grab some coffee and prepare for my class.

Thanks for all the above "welcomes" I'll let you know how it goes later tonight.....

Welcome!

My daughter is 16 and will be taking a class next week. For much of her life, she has always wanted to get certified... must be something to do with being a fish. (Pisces)
