User replaceable batteries is a must have for me....If I can't do it myself, it's a deal breaker.

Most dive computer batteries last 2-5+ years anyway - for me, user replacable batteries are a nice to have rather than a set in feature must-have feature.

I've been using a Suunto Gekko now for a few months and like it plenty. i just ordered a Suunto Vytec DS because i wanted air integration and some of the other more advanced features, but as an inexpensive computer for a new diver, the Gekko is a great buy.
