I notice that Oxycheq redesigned the Mach V with cambelt slots and apparently some do-hickies to allow you to use the wing without an STA.

Does anyone here have any experience with this wing? How stable is the tank on it without an STA?

Thanks.

i've got an oxycheq mach v on the way. i don't know if it's the old version or new version, but i got it at a steal. the guy did say i wouldn't need an sta, so it may be the new version.

I am interested to hear how stable the STA-less setup is, since that's how I am going to rig my DR gear.

just got my mach v in and it is the new sta-less style. woohoo. now i just need my plate and harness to come in. [/anxiously tapping foot on ground]

i'm in the same boat as you, except i have my plate and harness and am waiting for my mach v :D

I have the new Mach V with the roll control built in. I love it. The tank is rock solid. Great wing! Narrow, compact, very nice.
