STAless with the new Mach V???

I notice that Oxycheq redesigned the Mach V with cambelt slots and apparently some do-hickies to allow you to use the wing without an STA.

Does anyone here have any experience with this wing? How stable is the tank on it without an STA?

i've got an oxycheq mach v on the way. i don't know if it's the old version or new version, but i got it at a steal. the guy did say i wouldn't need an sta, so it may be the new version.

I only have 3 dives with my new Mach V, 30# wing, but to me, STA-less feels rock solid.

i'm in the same boat as you, except i have my plate and harness and am waiting for my mach v

I have the new Mach V with the roll control built in. I love it. The tank is rock solid. Great wing! Narrow, compact, very nice.

Scubatoys sells both models. I purchased the sta-less model from Scubatoys last month.
