I use 3" vinyl letters for the MOD but use yellow duct tape and a sharpie for the contents lable.
I like the reflective letters in most cases. But if it is real dark and you are shining a light on them, the reflection can make them harder to read than plain black letters against a brushed aluminum or yellow tank or white letters aginst a black tank.
