Hi

We are trying to arrange for a dive in st kitts, heard a lot about Pro Divers , so sent them an email at "prodiverstkitts@live.com" twice. We have not heard from them. The other dive shops also seem to be closed on that day (saturday, in spetember)

Any ideas as to what we can do ? is this normal (no response from diveshop) for Pro-dive? anyone else out there with similar exp...or alternates

BYW, we are on a cruise and will be visiting
St Thomas (dive- Admiralty),
Dominica (hike, snorkel),
Barbados (beach-shore snorkel- which beach?),
St Lucia (eastern caribbean / dive fair helen - not decided , any ppast experience to help us decide?),
Antigua(beach-shore snorkel - which beach?),
St Kitts (dive with ???)..

what does everyone think? doable, good choice of dive days?

Thanks in advance
~Rae

(Also may be posting this in other forums for max options , so, sorry abt the dups)

We just got back from St. Kitts, we dove with Dive St. Kitts out of Bird Rock Beach Resort. If you are coming in on a cruise ship they are the ones to use. The week we were there, they did the cruise ship divers, and aparently have a contract with Carnival to do their divers.
They were VERY responsive. Mike is great guy, will call back if you leave email or voicemail. Captain Crabby, Ben, Rob and Julian couldn't have been more helpful and competent, not to mention fun!!
We also went to Nevis and dove with Scuba Safari, Ellis there, is great as well.
Have fun.

Hi Newbie,
Pro divers are off island on vacation at the moment.
Kenneths dive centre does not dive on Saturdays and Dive St Kitts might only take out divers who have booked the official cruise boat tour (more expensive)
Pro Divers will be diving on all Saturdays in September. I will apologise on their behalf, Margot does normally keep up with email even when on vacation.
PM me if you want more details and I will give you my email address.

You will enjoy prodivers.

They actually treat the cruise boat folks really well... dropped them off right near their cruise ship. Enjoy.

Topside in St Kitts for the day, here is some ideas.
Island tour by Sugar Train (the only working railroad in the Caribbean).
Rain Forest Tour or Hike.
Zip Lining though the rainforest.
Visit Brimstone Hill fortress.
Horseback riding on the beaches.
Cycle tour.
ATV tour.
Catamaran cruise.
Glass bottom boat.
Sea Trek
Private taxi tour of the island.
More info at
St. Kitts Tourism..St.Kitts Vacation / Holiday packages

As for the diving, I am going to let others comment because I live here but if you want factual information go to
St Kitts Scuba Diving information - mystkittsdivebuddy- the underwater world on the island of St Kitts

All the tours and the diving are bookable independently. pm me if you need more.
