We are both Divemasters, contemplating a trip over to St. John over Labor Day. Neither of us has ever been there. We've heard that the diving can be rough, and the dive operators are pretty varied. Based upon what we have read here on Scubabord, it looks like 6paqscuba may be the dive shop we are focusing on. We are looking for the non-cattle boat operator. If they focus on more experienced divers, that would also be preferred. How willing are they to customize their dive locations? Which sites have you dove? What did you like about them the most? The least? Recommended dive sites (probably going to do 6 dives over 3 days...may or maynot do a night dive, in addition to the 6)? Bottom time? Does the operator limit bottom time? How long were the boat rides to the dive sites? Did 6paq leave you with the impression that they are a safe, competent dive operator?

Anything else you can pass along will be appreciated.

Thank you,

StCroix2
