Spotted Eagle Rays - Video from Key Largo

I had a little time to edit up this little piece of footage from Key Largo @ Molasses reef last April (2005).

This was the first and only time I ever saw a whole group (school, flock?) of spotted eagle rays. What do you call a group of them anyway?

It was pretty cool... They're so graceful. I haven't put any music to it yet, I'm not quite sure what to put with it.

Ohh, and a group of Eagle Rays is a Gaggle!!

I don't know if the viz really gets much better at molasses reef. I think from all of the once a year divers going there, a lot of sand gets kicked up. I'm not saying that all once a year divers kick up sand and silt, but I saw some of the other people on the boat that day, with their rental equipment, and fast flutter kicks.

Does that area get like 80-100' viz ever? Anyone? Just Curious.
