i like how they say spotted eagle rays can grow to 17 feet.

ok they corrected it. the article does not say that eagle rays can grow to 17 feet. what a freak accident though.

I prefer the striped variety myself The adjectives that come to my mind when thinking about eagle rays are graceful and aloof. This accident is so bizarre that it sounds like it came out of a Monty Python movie.

What's next - a nudibranch putting someone's eye out?
