Ahh, the timeless debate is back in circulation. I came across the video and found it very interesting United Divers of New Hampshire - YouTube Take a look at the 2 min 50 sec mark. I thought I was halucinating. He must not have gotten the memo, you can't use split fins inside caves.

To the OP. You won't get much of an answer on the "perfect" fins. You just have to try a lot of different styles, makes, models to get YOUR Perfect set. What is good for one will be something that another person won't even touch with a 10ft pole.
