What do you mean servicing? I thought the usual shops only take apart/rebuild the Regs and first stage.
Do they do anything with the SPGs as well, as part of the servicing?
As mentioned above the o-rings on the spool should be changed when the reg is serviced. I must admit, I preferred SPGs not to have a boot. Some boots can be a pain to work with; because of that I know a couple of techs who don’t change the spool or the o-rings.
