hey whats up everyone. i am looking to go down to the long key or further or head up towards dania beach for some fish hunting with some buddies. we got a littel john boat that we will be using. any good spots out there or recommendations to where to go?!? looking for all input!!! thanks in advance

Regardless of the site you choose, pick your day and weather very carefully - a jon boat is a poor choice for salt water unless the seas are really flat - and things change quickly out on the water.

As the famous line in the movie "Jaws" goes "...I think you're going to need a bigger boat"

If you will be diving in Dania, you don't want to be going out the Port Everglades cut in a john boat. Some of the boats going out the cut throw 3-4 ft wakes.

I've had some good luck shooting in Dania. It's supposed to be pretty rough for the rest of the week on through the weekend. You may be better off heading down to the keys to party instead.
