I'm not sure about this. We're hoping this will be bad for only a few days. Making a change like that will add a lot of work for a long time to come. We might still have to do that though. This is insane! @Lorenzoid got the last one! Maxwell's silver hammer has nothing on our mods!
Once a spam bot finds a page they will not stop. For this ai generated automated things its no effort.
Maybe a human proof / validation and/or better email validation may help for creating accounts. Once this cannot be done by some computer itself, its not a good target. No human will contribute to such spam.
Really bad, these programms become better and are sold, so you do not even have to have special knowledge for it.
