Spain has always been a European center of recreational diving especially around Barcelona .
The late Antonio Ribera (Sp) was one of the great pioneer Spanish divers, well know among the early divers for his involvement and innovations for Nemrod.

Thank you, Sam - I will try. Our home is just over the hill from Alicante. There is a little diving over at Moraira, near Valencia and Calpe but I will definitely check on Barcelona next time
