It does, but it is turned around, so the smooth part recesses into a washer.

The new nut is the same width as the old nut. Well the old nut is recessed a couple of mm into that washer. So when you put on the new nut, the hose has a couple of mm less threads to hold onto.

Do you have an old nut in front of you? Basically picture the smooth area is recessed into that washer. But with the new nut it sits on top of the washer.

Here is one of the nuts I pulled off my G250HP, it is the same nut on my S560.

It isn't an issue with the G250HP as the smooth side is facing out.

I might be able to order Halcyon Aura nuts. I think they use the same design as the S560.
